Jean Nouvel's 2010 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion

The frame was constructed in steel with a 12m tall cantilevered wall that emerges from the ground.
The design, inspired by British icons - like the London bus and the post box - consists of a series of retractable awnings and free standing walls with glass roofs and fabric screens to manipulate light.


Some of the previous ten Pavilions in the summer series at the Serpentine.
